Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer Mini Announced!

Superstar writer Che Grayson (Absolute Catwoman) and brilliant artist Adam Gorham (The Infernal Hulk) are partnering up again for the second Exquisite Corpses spinoff series to hit shelves, Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer. The two creators joined forces for issue #4 of Exquisite Corpses Season One, showcasing a tense showdown between Fox Mask Killer and Lady Carolina. Now they will explore the backstory of the fan-favorite sword-wielding killer in a five-issue limited series coming from Tiny Onion and Image Comics this September.

Eisner Award winning colorist Jordie Bellaire (The Nice House, Redlands) and critically acclaimed letterer Becca Carey (Radiant Black) are collaborating with Grayson and Gorham on the title.

The launch issue will also feature gorgeous covers by popular artists such as Gorham, Annie Wu (Hawkeye), Ito (Something is Killing the Children covers), Mike Huddleston (Decorum), Inhyuk Lee (The Ultimates covers), and Exquisite Corpses co-creator Michael Walsh (The Silver Coin, Universal Monsters: Frankenstein). Walsh's variant will come polybagged with a collectible trading card tied to Exquisite Corpses: The Game, which was just successfully funded on Kickstarter. There will also be a special Witchblade team-up variant cover by Walsh.

The horror franchise is growing to include not just Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer, but also Exquisite Corpses: Rascal Randy, by the all-star team of writer Tyler Boss, artist Dylan Burnett, colorist Bellaire, and letterer Carey, which will be the first Exquisite Corpses spinoff series to debut, hitting shelves this July. The third limited series, Exquisite Corpses: Lone Gunman, will be written by Absolute: Green Arrow scribe Pornsak Pichetshote and drawn by fan-favorite artist Alberto Ponticelli (Unknown Soldier). There will also be an anthology one-shot (Exquisite Corpses: Book of the Dead) hitting shelves ahead of Exquisite Corpses Season Two, and a feature film adaptation is in development with Tiny Onion and Lyrical Media.
