Secret Symbi-Origins! Spidey met the weird little monster in space but had no idea of the little glob's history. Take a journey back to the very beginning of the Klyntar race that led to Venom and Carnage and see the journey Symbie has made. It may surprise you!
There's a new symbiote superstar wreaking havoc in the Marvel Universe and his name is Symbie! But who is this mischievous — and adorable — little glob, and more importantly, where did he come from? This December, those questions and more will finally be answered in Amazing Spider-Man: Symbie #1, a special one-shot spinning out of Amazing Spider-Man from writer Joe Kelly and artist David Baldeón.
Originally created by the Marvel's Spidey and his Amazing Friends show team for the hit Disney Jr. series, Symbie has been popping up all over Marvel comics since his debut in Amazing Spider-Man #11 written by Joe Kelly and drawn by Pepe Larraz. Additional comic book appearances include Spidey and his Amazing Friends #1 CGD 2026 written by staff writer Danielle Kreger, the Symbie Infinity Comic by Jacob Chabot, and Marvel Mutts Infinity Comic by MacKenzie Cadenhead and Enid Balám, as well as the upcoming Spidey and his Amazing Friends #1 Halloween Trick-or-Read 2026 releasing for younger fans this October.
The main cover is by superstar Amazing Spider-Man artist Pepe Larraz — who also drew Symbie's first-ever comic appearance — alongside variant covers by David Baldeón and Pere Pérez. Alongside a main story oozing with secret symbiote lore, the issue will also feature a bonus backup tale by writer/artist Jacob Chabot in the same spirit as the hit Symbie Infinity Comic.
