Marvel Legends Fanstream April 2026 Thoughts
The Marvel Legends team gave us one of their strangest streams yet, with a bizzare mix of most wanted figures and ones I would believe not a single person has asked for. Lets start with the good:

Robbie Reyes – Ghost Rider
After the massive failure of the Hellcharger HasLab, which failed to reach the 9000 backers needed for even its base tier, it’s good to see Robbie himself enter the line, the second of the three promised figures from that set after the made-to-order Mephisto. Here’s hoping this means the Goblin Queen is still on the table. Robbie has always been a personal favourite of mine, being the star of the first single issue I ever bought, and this figure looks brilliant. The lack of a non-Ghost Rider head is a little dissappointing, but far from the biggest issue when I’d realistically only display him on fire anyways.

Dark Hawkeye – Bullseye
Another long awaited figure, this Dark Hawkeye arguably makes up the last of the most famous Dark Avengers team, although technically we have the wrong Noh-Varr costume and a very out-of-date and out-of-production Ares, so hopefully they don’t move on too quickly. Again, my main complaint is a lack of a maskless head, and in this case they could have even resused the Bullseye head they’ve made before. Aside from that complaint, again a figure with pretty much everything you would want.

Psylocke – Betsy Braddock
While not our first Psylocke, it is the first white girl Betsy in the Marvel Legends line, and it’s probably the most wanted one. With another gap in the Outback team filled, it’s arguably just one topless Colossus left to go, especialy since a Marvel Legends Gateway or civilian Maddy Pryor seems a little unlikely. The Marvel Legends team’s refusal to commit to wired or cloth capes is probably my biggest issue here, while the plastic capes might look better in the right pose it also limits the figures posability. While not the most egregious highlighting of the issue revealed today, it’s the only real complaint I have, at least until I see if that butterfly effect is as hard to fit on as previous ones have been.

Ultimate Wolverine – Yet Another Logan
Sometimes the Marvel Legends team do things that annoy me but don’t at all surprise me. Finally making a 6160 figure and having it be Wolverine, despite him debuting months later and in a book that’s far from my favourite in the line, is certainly one of those. It’s objectively a pretty good figure, fairly standard to the many, many Wolverines that the team release a year, although with no BaF piece it looks a little lonely in that big box without too many accessories. I suppose this does increase the odds we might finally get a Maker, or Ultimate Thor, or Iron-Lad…right?

US Agent – Force Works
I don’t think Hasbro has ever done a reveal that’s left me more confused than this. It’s not a terrible figure, and may even be a new body mould being debuted, but I do have to wonder how many people were really dying for a Force Works John Walker, even with his newfound popularity thanks to Wyatt Russell in Thunderbolts*. This seems like a strange team to start, since I don’t exactly see Hasbro making Scarlet Witch’s more revealing Force Works outfit or a Century figure flying off the shelves. But hey, the shield accessory is pretty cool?

Lady Deadpool
Not Marvel Legends first attempt at Lady Deadpool, and an inarguable improvement over the years old Sauron-wave figure, and with her recent debut in Deadpool & Wolverine, it makes sense to give her another go. Hard to hide my apathy on a charater I couldn’t care less about, its a great figure on the more recent female ML mould that actually provides decent posability, so she can look great in the Deadpool fan’s jars.

Marrina
Another odd choice, Marrina is one of the more prominent Alpha Flight members Hasbro haven’t made, but have the words “prominent” and “Alpha Flight” ever really gone together? The webbed hands and scaled body are some really neat pieces though, which I’m sure we’ll see some reuse of soon enough. The empty box highlights the lack of accessories here, I can’t help but feel some sort of water effect would have filled it out nicely.

Box – Roger Bochs
As all Box-heads will know, there are two main Boxs…Boxes? and Hasbro has opted here to make the lesser known of the two, by a significant margin. It’s a really strong figure though, with some definite new parts and a fun design to keep building out the Alpha Flight team.
Box BaF wave is available to pre-order now on Hasbro Pulse and the usual fan-channel sites.
Marvel Rivals
I don’t think anyone anticipated just how successful Marvel’s entry into the very saturated market of hero shooters would be, least of all the people who make Marvel’s merchandise. At last Marvel Legends have unveiled their first figures based on the game, and they’re a bit of a mixed bag.

Punisher
With a brand new sculpt that perfectly captures the Marvel Rivals style, Punisher is a great first reveal that matches his in-game look really well with some typical Punisher accessories, plenty of guns. While I could critique the design, the actual figure captures it really well. Single jointed elbows hold back the posibility a little, but on a big single use sculpt like this it’s a little easier to forgive.

Moon Knight
Capes. You can’t help but wonder if maybe the solution to this problem wasn’t multiple plastic capes, but maybe just a singular wired cape? It’s a really good figure aside from it, but it feels like such an obvious way to improve the figure, especially when Hasbro have done cloth pieces, and even wired capes, before.

Spider-Man and Luna Snow
One of my biggest questions when I saw Hasbro was making Rivals figures is how they would handle characters like Luna, who haven’t been made before in the line. Thankfully they took a similair approach to the X-Men ’97 figures, and toned down the style a little to make it a figure that can fit in both collections. With some nice icy accessories, she’s probaly the best figure in the wave. Spider-Man, on the other hand, is a charater we have seen quite a lot in the line, which means a lot of comparisons especially compared to the recently revealed “Maximum” line. This figure is a clear step back from that unfortunately, with an ab crunch and no ball joint. The detail on the unique sculpt almost makes up for it, but the printed instead of sculpted lines sets it back again. There are a million Spider-Man figures, which means any new figure gets a lot more scrutiny than most characters.

Venom and Jeff
A somewhat odd pairing, these two make up some of the best and worst of todays reveals. Starting with the worst, the complete lack of possability on Jeff was one thing on the comic version, released as an accessory to Shikla in the Strong Man wave, but here it feels almost insulting. Compared to the brilliant work on other animal figures like Cosmo and Lockjaw, not even having a single joint in the limbs is ridiculous. A lack of a swim effect seems like such a clear misstep too. Venom on the other hand, looks great. With great articulation and some nice little goopy accessories, this big boy almost makes up for his little buddies problems.

Cyclops Visor
I am a grown man, and I do not need to dress up like a superhero. Or at least that’s what I’ve been telling my wallet ever since this was revealed. Like most Marvel Legends accessory pieces, I have no doubt the price will scare me off a little though. The materials look just “real” enough to stop it looking cheap, and although it’s maybe a little oversized, that probably depends on the size of your head more than anything. Unlike the usual helmet, I do wonder how something like this will fair as a display piece, unless you just have a manequin head ready to go.

The Tease!
As always, we end a Marvel Legends stream with a little tease of what to come. My guess? A nice Havok effect piece, lining up with the rumours of an X-Men ‘97 two-pack for Havok and Polaris X-Factor looks. The original two-pack is great, but could certainly do with an update. Another figure from the leaked list is Mesmero, but the larger peg on the “bottom” makes it seem like it could be a base for something instead
