Harlivy and the gang are hiding out in Catwoman’s mansion – on a mission to terraform Gotham City; but Harley needs some entertainment and decides to start a band. Not entirely sure what to call my observation on this next part, but when I saw Harley turn the amp down from 11 to 10, it made me think of Spinal Tap’s Nigel Tufnel explaining how overjoyed he was about his amps going to 11. Made me giggle.
Ivy is afraid to be honest with Harley for fear of hurting her but realizes the best way is always the truth. Harley reacts in certain ways due to her surroundings and never really getting the space to express her emotions in a positive light – resulting in screaming and smashing the majority of times.
Frank is kidnapped – which opens up a dangerous possibility of exposing Ivy’s plan to whoever took him. But Harley recognizes the pin left behind by the intruder and goes to Joker for help.
If you caught the trophies in The Jokers kitchen – there are four awards from the Villys meaning he was definitely with Harley for four years, skipping the year she spent in Arkham, and the fifth award coming from him taking it for himself. It doesn’t exactly define a timeline or period with them together – but it does tell us that Joker was bribing for “Best Couple” at the Annual Villain Awards for at least four years.
I’m not hating it, but definitely a little confused with Joker’s new lease of life – however, I think it looks good on him. For once; he’s supportive of Harley, not meddling with her life, and actually helping her for once.
Catwoman and Ivy are confirmed as intimate partners. We know the Gotham City Sirens are bisexuals and to have it said outright is amazing – even if it did cause a bump in the road for Harlivy. Which they thankfully resolved at the end of the episode leaving no room for panic if they’re gonna be ok next week. Much like how a mature couple would go about voicing their thoughts rather than sleeping in silence.
The juicy part: Court of Owl orgy?! It’s The Boys’ Herogasm but DC. Who would have thought the show would push that hard? Some interesting sound effects in the background, it’s a whole zoo in there. I’m curious who recorded those sounds.
Bane was a total highlight for me; we asked for more Bane this season, and of course, the team delivered, having him at his best yet. Paired with Gordon being completely oblivious to his surroundings and the girls checking out ass birthmarks… Did I really just type that? It’s enough to tell you this season is unexpected and completely random, but a gem within the fandom that will forever be remembered as the time Harlivy went to an orgy.
