Sweet Boy by Brian Level and Noah Halton, is a new ongoing series from Dauntless Stories. Dauntless is an indie publisher who highlights all genres of comic. They have been on my radar for some time for the books they put out there. They are taking chances on making the comics they want to see in the market. With their recent announcements of things like their Valor Verse and other titles, they continue to hit their wagon to some of the coolest indie comics. But horror is where my bread and butter is so getting to introduce you to their new series, Sweet Boy is an honor.

The Unlikely duo of a widow, Elaine, and a stop-at-nothing amateur sleuth, Toni, follow the long shadows cast by the oceanside town of Saint Peter’s Cape to a hideous supernatural island that holds not only the whereabouts of Elaine’s missing husband Johnny, but the secrets of his past- secrets that will alter how she views even her own son.
Elaine wishes to leave all the anguish behind, but Toni drags her deeper. She will do anything in her power to learn the truth and make her mark on the world by solving a decades old cold case of serial killing cannibals.
