A brief explanation of our hosts’ opinions on the show. Jake loved how the series is a remake and breathed new life into the classic story’s antiwar sentiment with new concepts against bigotry and accepting others. Amanda explained that the series was often just adding more heavy moments until the inevitable breaking points of the character and was often gratuitous. (This was completely valid cause I, Jake, do understand this series can be a lot)
